In private lessons, I coach you through the training.
 In Done-For-You Training, I work directly with your dog multiple times per week, then we meet for transfer lessons so you can maintain the progress. It’s the fastest, most hands-off option.

What is the Service Dog Coaching Program?

Our Service Dog Coaching Program is a one-on-one training plan designed to help you train your own service dog with professional guidance. Instead of sending your dog away, you’ll work alongside a certified trainer who teaches both you and your dog the skills needed for reliable service work from foundation obedience to advanced task training.

For those that prefer it, we do offer a Done-For-You Training option as well at no extra cost. This is where I work 1-on-1 with your dog at your home or in public and work with you to continue that training at home.

We do public access service dogs and at-home only service dogs.

Our program focuses on building strong foundations first like confidence, neutrality, and obedience before layering in custom task training and public access skills.

Do you certify or register service dogs?

No. There is no official U.S. registry or certification for service dogs. However, through our program, your dog will be trained to meet or exceed ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) behavioral standards. We’ll help you understand what’s legally required for a service dog in public spaces.

What’s the difference between a Service Dog and an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)?

A Service Dog is trained to perform specific tasks that mitigate a person’s disability, while an ESA provides comfort through their presence and does not require specialized training. Our Service Dog Coaching Program focuses exclusively on task-trained service dogs under the ADA.

The Calm & Connected Package offers more in-depth support with extra in-person sessions. This is better for people who want extra support or dog's with more severe reactivity or multiple behaviors that need work.

It depends! (You'll hear me say that a lot!) But it really does depend on your goals and your pup. Some people I work with will be working up to Therapy Dog work, taking their dog to pet friendly places like breweries, or earning their Canine Good Citizen. Others will just be looking to better house manners or increase their dogs comfort and confidence in the world!
